My first real day at my new office in Boston’s Back Bay – super stoked to no longer be working from home full time! I loved being at the end of Newbury Street, adjacent to Berkeley school of music and ample shops/restaurants catering to locals, students, and tourists alike.

While I loved my time at WeWork, their single offices really weren’t conducive for anyone who needs to be on a phone, or even think for that matter; small, cramped quarters coupled with paper thin walls meant everyone heard everything everywhere, which, at the end of the day, was super annoying.

Regus solved that. My office was larger and quieter… what more could I ask for?

It was time to celebrate, and nothing could stoke my excitement more than a club sandwich for lunch. Trident Booksellers & Café is a local institution I had been going to for years – and since I only had 15 minutes between meetings, takeout from them was the only thing I could fit in.

Their Spicy Turkey Club almost jumped off the menu, and I opted for this sandwich – no changes, although their online ordering system definitely tried to push a lot of options onto me – and the 15 minute wait it took to create.

Back in my office in under 5 minutes (wow Trident was busy!!), club sandwich in front of me, I was ready to christen my new workspace typing with one hand and club sandwich in the other.

The dance of flavors echoed throughout my mouth – I could tell from my first bite down this was a solid club sandwich. The taste of each ingredient vibing together is exactly what I was hoping for from the Trident. The textures also added so much excitement to a seemingly standard club sandwich. The smooth and creamy avocado blending with the plump, perfectly sliced turkey and rippled baked bacon, just an awesome combination. The crisp yet tender sourdough bread was an excellent choice to hold this meal together.  Even though it came off as griddled, there was no grease in sight – The spicy sriracha mayo came in with muted force at the end of each bite; a perfect hint of flavor and moisture to round out this club sandwich.

1000% I will be back to Trident! How could I not? With a club sandwich this good only minutes from my office, I may make it a weekly occurrence.
