I’ve never been to Charlotte. I suppose I still haven’t.

The airport was slammed the same day of the NBA All-Star game. The people here reminded me I was in America, and coming from Los Angeles, I really enjoyed the people watching.

I got upgraded on my second leg to Florida, but I just couldn’t trust the food they may or may not serve on the flight.

The first place I stopped for a club, Bad Daddy’s, said all food would take 30 minutes. With only eight minutes to board my flight, I knew I needed to find another place fast. Perhaps a healthier stop. Lo and behold Fresh Attractions caught my eye.

The photo of their club sandwich on the wall, marketing materials produced somewhere not at this airport, revealed an incredible looking club sandwich. Doubtful I would get that, I hoped it would at least come close.

The Panini grilled sourdough was decent, but the rest the sandwich was totally awful. The bacon was just a step above McDonald’s bacon. I couldn’t stop licking my lips from the salt content in this sandwich (in a bad way). When I boarded my flight, thanks to the first class service, I started downing water.

Anyway, I knew I’d have better food in Naples, so I bit my tongue, wrote this review, finished off another episode of Narcos, and sat patiently awaiting my arrival.
